Villa Youville
COMMUNIQUÉ
To residents and staff members
From: Gilbert Legal, President, Board of Governors
Date: December 13, 2019
Subject: New Chief Executive Officer

I am pleased to inform you that Villa Youville’s Board of Governors has chosen Gilbert Audette to be its next CEO.
For our residents in the Motels and Pavillon (Supportive Living Sector), Gilbert needs no introduction. He has been our Director of Services for the last six years and has managed our entire housing sector. Our residents know how much Gilbert cares about their well-being and the wonderful things he has done to make Villa Youville one of the best possible places for seniors.
Gilbert personifies our values of tender, loving care and the importance of hospitality and family spirit. These are essential qualities for Villa Youville’s CEO. During the six years that he has been with us, he has shown himself to be a people’s person with the ability to make friends and create positive relationships. Our team leaders reach out to him for support in their work. He gives generously of his time and has proven to be an excellent member of our senior leadership team.
Gilbert has the required knowledge and skills to achieve the goals that we have set in our Strategic Plan 2020-2025. His knowledge and experience in the construction industry and its various trades will stand him in good stead with the upcoming addition of 40 beds to our long-term care sector.
For those of you who do not yet know him, you may be interested to know that Gilbert Audette was born and raised in Saint-Pierre-Jolys. He has completed professional studies in Business Administration and has worked in the field of business for twenty-five years, as a sales manager and business owner. Gilbert has given many hours of his time as a volunteer board member and chair of numerous community groups, mostly with the Caisses Populaires/Credit Unions.
Gilbert and his wife Mona live in the Giroux area. They are the proud parents of two boys, Dominic and Nicolas, a daughter, Danica and grandsons, Alexandre and Caleb.
We wish Gilbert the very best in his new position, and we are sure that you will give him your full support.
I take this opportunity to wish all of you on behalf of our Board members a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
