Beyond Ste-Anne…

In its beginnings, Villa Youville met the needs of seniors in the nearby parishes of Sainte-Anne-des-Chênes and Richer who could no longer live by themselves or with their children. Those who needed care had to leave their community and stay at the Hospice Taché in St. Boniface. The presence of a seniors’ home in Ste-Anne quickly attracted the Francophone population of neighboring communities: La Broquerie, Lorette, Île-des-Chênes, Sainte-Geneviève and Ross. Seniors from parishes as far away as Saint-Jean-Baptiste began to choose the Villa as a retirement or care home.

Today, Villa Youville proudly welcomes people from all over Manitoba.

Spouses with different needs

Villa Youville offers all types of services within its complex, from completely independent living to full and continuous care. This allows spouses and friends to stay together, under one roof, regardless of their health situation. This concept is particularly interesting for couples whose partners require long-term care. Spouses can visit each other on a daily basis without leaving the building, a valuable benefit in winter and for those who do not drive.
