MISSION, VISION AND VALUES
OUR MISSION
As a Francophone organization operating in both official languages, we promote the well-being, dignity, and respect of older adults by offering supports directed by them, according to their needs, aspirations and preferences within an intergenerational living community.
OUR VISION
Older adults thrive in accessible, welcoming, and diverse spaces for all.
OUR VALUES
Villa Youville carries on a long tradition of Francophone and Catholic service on which its organizational values are founded.
Compassion – Our actions and words are guided by warmth and compassion.
Community – We prioritize collaboration, inclusion, and mutual support with the people we serve, their loved ones, our employees, volunteers, and partners.
Quality – We offer services that support the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical well-being of each person.
HISTORY & EVOLUTION
History (1964 – present) — Founded in 1964 to meet the needs of Francophone seniors in Manitoba, Villa Youville has grown into a key provider of person-directed senior living. Our commitment to autonomy and dignity has driven decades of service and continual improvement.
Evolution – From expanding residences to introducing innovative care programs, we remain at the forefront of best practices in senior care.
OUR APPROACH TO PERSON-DIRECTED LIVING
We recognize every individual’s unique needs and preferences. Person-directed living means residents fully choose the services they receive, their lifestyle, and daily activities. Health services are personalized and adapt as needs evolve.
